Landmark Nicosia, Cyprus 

The Landmark Nicosia Towers project presented a series of complex engineering challenges, particularly through the incorporation of massive cantilevered steel and terrazzo canopies at ground level. These elements pushed the limits of structural feasibility, requiring innovative fabrication techniques and precise execution. 

In parallel, the bespoke unitised curtain wall system demanded rigorous quality control throughout manufacturing and installation. Coordinating a wide range of façade elements across both towers, while meeting demanding thermal, structural and aesthetic requirements, required a disciplined and highly controlled delivery approach. 

Saifi 450, Lebanon 

At Saifi 450 in Lebanon, the challenge lay in the hybrid integration of multiple façade systems within a highly articulated architectural envelope. Designed by Bernard Khoury Architects, the tower combines expansive glazed surfaces, aluminium curtain walls and composite panel cladding with exposed steel elements and decorative fins.  

Achieving this level of complexity required meticulous coordination, tight fabrication tolerances and carefully sequenced installation. In addition, the façade systems were engineered to perform within Beirut’s coastal climate, ensuring airtightness, weather resistance and long-term durability while maintaining the building’s distinctive architectural identity. 

Azuri, Nigeria 

The Azuri project in Nigeria introduced a different set of challenges, defined by both scale and environmental conditions. Comprising multiple high-rise towers connected by a mixed-use podium, the development required tailored façade solutions for each structure, including unitised curtain wall systems, sliding doors and specialised glazing.  

The project demanded extensive material coordination and logistical planning, with key components manufactured internationally and delivered under strict timelines. Harsh coastal weather conditions and local construction constraints required the establishment of a dedicated on-site assembly facility, enabling efficient production and installation. The execution of over 3,000sqm of unitised curtain wall within a compressed programme stands as a testament to Alusteel’s ability to deliver under demanding conditions.

The scale and complexity of the project required a coordinated approach to fabrication and installation readiness, ensuring seamless integration on site. 

Similarly, our involvement in Kings Tower introduced a highly specialised scope, centred on the execution of a double skin façade system. This iconic, mixed-use development demanded advanced engineering and precision detailing, combining aluminium and stainless steel structures to achieve both performance efficiency and architectural distinction. 

In the commercial sector, the EPC development for Ekobank stands as another key reference, where our scope included curtain wall systems, louvers, doors, windows and skylights. The project required a balance between aesthetic ambition and technical execution, reinforcing our ability to deliver systems that respond to architectural vision and environmental demands.
